Outdoor learning day- races, maths patterns, Roman numerals, Roman games and Romans versus the Celts!
Minibeast hunting, pond dipping, tree climbing and shelter building at Ashridge.
McFly Day- Dance. We choreographed a dance to go with this McFly song.

McFly Day- Art. We listened to the 'The Girl who had five colours in her hair' and drew what we imagined or how it made us feel.

Starting our new topic with an amazing visit from some Egyptologists. Dressing up, dancing, looking at artefacts and mummifying people!

Stone Age Day- dressing up, hunting and gathering, and a stone age lunch!
Science- finding out about Sedimentary, Metamorphic and Igneous rocks by using chocolate!
Woolly mammoths- using our measuring skills to create lifesize footprints
Year 3 started the year with a design and technology focus week. They designed and made Mistake Monsters to keep in the classroom to remind them that it is good to make mistakes- we need to make them in order to learn.
