Pirates of the Curry Bean

Everything was ship-shape and sea-worthy for our performances of Pirates of the Curry Bean this week. All of the children in Years 3 to 6 took part in the production, which has seen a huge amount of work from staff and pupils in recent weeks, with lots of practices and rehearsals.  But it was a production to remember!

The children in main roles were amazing, with the formidable Pearl (played by Tammi) supported by her children (Jack, Cosima and Lizzie) as they braved the high seas with the help of a rather clumsy Royal Naval Crew led by the haphazard Admiral Hornhonker (Kiera).  Not all was plain sailing though, as they were constantly chased by the gruesome gang of pirates, led by the fearsome Captain Redbeard (Timi).  The climax of the story was where the sailors and pirates all get marooned on a desert island where they meet the locals who had a surprising leader......

Well done to all who took part.  It was so pleasing to see so many talents on show!
