We are pleased you have chosen to visit us and learn more about our school
 Micklem is a one-form entry school with a nursery attached, situated in the Warners End area of Hemel Hempstead. It has extensive grounds including playground with an adventure trail and playing fields. We will shortly be having an outdoor classroom as well. Most of our pupils live close to the school, but we have a few who choose to bring their children from further a field. Micklem is a very friendly and welcoming school. Here children know most of the other pupils and all the staff in the school. There is a strong sense of community and an emphasis on co-operation, consideration and citizenship. Older children regularly work and play alongside younger pupils and are encouraged to be good role models. As a result our pupils gain in confidence and independence.
We have average class sizes and this together with our excellent ratio of adults enables us to raise standards for all pupils whether they have learning difficulties or are very able and talented.
Visitors to the school are welcomed at any time of the year.
