Snow and Severe Weather

In the event of snow and other severe weather

We will make every effort to open the school however this is very much dependent on local circumstances and the number of staff who can safely travel to work.  Communications to parents will be via Arbor.  It is vital that we have your most up to date details for us to do this.  We will also have a message on our school answer phone.  Parents can also check the Herts Direct website school  closure page.

In the event of closure please use google classroom to find activities for the children.  If the school is able to open during a snowy period please make sure your children are warmly dressed and in school uniform.  They will also need a change of clothing so we can go outside and enjoy the snow in our grounds.  We will consider whether it is appropriate to run Breakfast Club and After School Club in individual situations.
