Year 3
Welcome to Year 3!
On behalf of the whole Year 3 team I would like to welcome you all to Year 3. The children have come back refreshed and ready to learn after the Christmas holidays. We have an exciting term coming up and lots of interesting things to learn. Our topic this half term is THE RAINFOREST. The children have come up with lots of things they want to find out about.
Here are their questions, if you would like to research some of the answers that would be great!
- What animals live in the rainforest?
- Do people live in the rainforest?
- Are there waterfalls in the rainforest?
- How tall are the trees?
- What types of tree are there in the rainforest?
- What is the weather like in the rainforest?
- Is there any food in the rainforest?
- What does it smell like?
For our topic we used art techniques, such as printing, marbling and collage to create a rainforest display. If you go to the gallery you will see our work.
