Dear Year One,

Hello to you all wherever you are learning!  I hope you are all well.

Remember these are our writing rules:

Capital letters

Full stops

Neat handwriting

Finger spaces

Read it through to check it makes sense

We will need to use them today and try our best

You are going to write the beginning of your story.  You are going to take your fruits to your friend (or granny whatever you chose).  So we need a story opener!  What do you like? One day, one sunny day?

You can choose.  Say what you are going to do? What will you carry the fruits in?  Use your captions from yesterday to say what fruits you have.  Tomorrow we will write the middle part.

Read your sentences so you are happy with them.  Well done
