Good morning Reception and Parents,

How are you today? I hope (if you have been well enough) you have had some time outdoors today. What did you see or do?

Today I would like you think about Jack and the beanstalk's giant. I think he just didn't know how to make friends. Could you think of some ideas about how to make friends? Maybe you could draw a poster to help explain or write some instructions for him to follow.

In Jack and the beanstalk, Jack took the giant's coins. Your challenge today is to find as many coins around the house and sort them out. How many have you got? You could count them and then share them with some teddies or siblings? Use the sheet attached below to help sort the coins. (This does NOT need to be printed).

Extra activities:

1. Read a book to someone (teddy, pet, daddy, mummy, brother, sister etc).

2. Make your own bed. Check with mummy/ daddy how to do it properly.

3. Put on your favourite song, record yourself dancing and singing to it.

Take care everyone and I will speak to you all tomorrow. Parents, don't worry if you're not getting everything done or are finding this difficult- you are doing amazing!

Speak to you all tomorrow,

Miss Courtnell
