English this week is all around the wonderful story 'The Journey'. Enjoy looking through this book with your child. There are no words in the book, so the learning is all through imagination and choosing words to describe the scenes and the action in them.
We will have an activity associated with the story each day.

We are learning about counting in 2s, 5s and 10s before we move on to times tables. The video will lead you through. Discuss with your child at every point and use objects to help them when needed. You won't have a beadstring at home, but a row of cheerios will do fine!

The video will lead you through. It starts by using historical language and plotting the children's past. The we start to learn all about the start of the space race. The Activity will be identifying the USA and USSR on the map.
