Learning, achieving, working together

Year 2

No Pens Day Wednesday!

We have been learning about the different uses of flour linking to our topic as the Great Fire of London started in a bakery. So on No Pens Day we made play dough! It was very exciting to see how flour, salt and water could mix together to make something new.

In maths we went outside and used natural materials to write number sentences. The children made subtraction and addition sentences and were able to find the inverse by moving around their materials.
