This week our work is about a jungle explorer!

For your reading task today, I would like you to read the passage, 'Journey to the Jungle' and then complete the vocabulary task all about synonyms.

In English today  you are going to plan ideas for a list poem. You will need to use your imaginations, amazing adjectives and powerful verbs. Read the poem '10 Things In An Explorer's Rucsac' and enjoy the rhythm of the words. We are going to use the pattern of this poem to write one of our own!

Spelling today - we are going to practise words endinig in -il.

All this week in Maths we are going to be exploring shape. Learning the names of shapes and how to describe them by noticing their features and playing games to help us remember all these things!

Maybe this afternoon you could go outside and pretend to be an explorer yourself. What would you pack in your rucsac for the journey?
