Good morning and happy April to you! No playing jokes on anyone today!

Today I would like you to have a teddy bear themed day.
Have you got any books about bears? Could you read them together?

Have a teddy bears’ picnic. Find 4 bears or toys.
How many plates, cups, forks, spoons do you need?
Use real food. Can your child share it fairly between the bears.
Ask questions such as :
Who has more?
Who has less?
How many more does this bear need?

Could you give your child a problem to solve?
E.g. we only have one apple , what could we do with it? How can we share it between the bears?
Can you go to the BBC Nursery rhymes website and find ‘The Bear went over the mountain’ song?
