Good morning everyone.
So today is the last day of term. We've made it through two weeks at home already!
Today can you make a rainbow for your window if you haven't already. Either with paint or collage whatever you fancy. This is a sign of hope for people walking past. If you walk past school have a look in the windows as the children attending school have made a huge rainbow.
I won't be setting daily challenges over the holidays but will summarise some ideas here if you want to keep busy over the next two weeks. Please keep posting photos onto Tapestry and I will look at them after the holidays.
*Try some Easter baking. Chocolate nests are always a favourite!
*Cut out egg shapes on card and decorate them
*If you have a printer, print out some Easter colouring sheets
*Read stories every day
*Practise counting things every day
*Sing Nursery rhymes
*Google Easter craft there will be loads!
Feel free to look back the other challenges I set and try them out again.
Just to remind you of the websites I recommended too:
For sheets and things to print to do
Books to read
https://www.oxfordowl.co.uk/ Username: micklem Password: thanks
Lots of interactive games on Purple mash and then mini mash
I hope this is helpful to have all the websites in one place.
Also remember when you go out for daily walk you can run, walk, hop, skip, take your bike or scooter. You could even do the listening walk idea.
Lots of stories and rhymes and clapping syllables is also a great thing to do daily.
Hope you have a nice two weeks although I know it will not quite be the same as the usual holidays.
REMEMBER; SCHOOL IS STILL OPEN SO IF YOU HAVE ANY URGENT QUERIES OR NEED HELP IN ANY WAY PLEASE PHONE SCHOOL OR USE THE ADMIN ADDRESS.
Lots of love and stay safe everyone.
Happy Easter and don't eat too much chocolate!!
