Dear Year One,
It is my son's birthday today! Olly is 22 years old. Wow! I ordered a card that explodes with confetti when you open it so I can't wait for him to see it! He is having a lemon and raspberry cheesecake for his birthday cake as he loves cheesecake. He is allowed to choose his birthday dinner, so he has chosen pizza which you know is my favourite too.
I think it is going to be hot today so keep safe with suncream and hats won't you?
Please do not print out the sheets for English as it is not necessary. I would like you to choose some special things that you would put in your treasure chest. I would put a photo of my family in there as it is very precious to me. How about you?
There is also a message from two castaways to Sayeeda. What do you think she would write back? Imagine you are her...what would you say? Would you go and rescue them?
There is also a funny pirate song for you to sing! Have fun.
Maths is the next sequence of Fractions. I hope you are enjoying them and using your clock knowledge to help you too.
Enjoy the sunshine,
Mrs Stokley
