Science Week March 2018
The Nursery class focus for Science week was learning about the five senses and talking about change. We carried out lots of fun activities and had a really hands on busy week! The activities included;
- observing chicks hatching
- touching the chicks when they were strong enough
- planting beans and watching them begin to grow
- observing daffodils flowering
- tasting sweet, salty and sour foods
- making and tasting jelly
- making pictures with different textures
- making smelly gingerbread men pictures with spices
- making musical instruments
