Opening Hours

Breakfast Club starts at 8.00am and children must arrive before 8.15am.  At 8.45am Reception and KS1 children are taken to their classrooms and KS2 children are taken onto the playground.

Please note that at this present time the children will need to arrive between 7.55am and 8.05am via gate 1 (usual entrance). Children should come in independently where possible, through the main doors in to the school. A parent of younger children may accompany their child to the barrier. An adult will be there to greet the children and make sure they know where they are going. Please do not arrive after this time as we will not be able to accommodate you unless there is very  good reason as to why you are late. On arrival children will sanitise their hands. At the end of the session children will be taken in to their classrooms where they will wash their hands on arrival.

Activites

The breakfast club is held in the mobile classroom (next door to Nursery), children can choose 3 items to eat or drink including cereal, yoghurt, fresh fruit, raisins, muffins, toast, waffles, pancakes, tea, milk, fruit juices and hot chocolate. Once they have eaten they go into the dining room where activities and games are run for them.

Please note that at this present time Breakfast Club will run in the school dining area. Children will be limited to table top activities and each group will have its own set of resources. Breakfast will be toast and cereal and adult contact will remain where possible at 2m distance.

Opening hours

We are pleased to advise that we are now in a position to offer an extension to the time we offer wraparound care.

3:15pm - 5:45pm

Please note your children will be collected from the school and taken to the mobile building (next to Nursery) where the ASC will take place. Children who attend after school enrichment clubs can be collected from that and join the ASC from this time. Due to staffing costs, charges will still be from 3:15pm  even if they don't join till after 4:00pm.

There is a late fee payable of £15.00 per half hour, if a child is collected after 5:15pm or 5.45pm if applicable. This fee is to cover staffing costs and is for emergencies only. We will follow our late collection procedure should a child be collected after 6:00pm.

Please note that at this present time children will be brought from their classes into the hall at the end of the day where they will have washed their hands before leaving. Children will remain in the same consistent group as we have for breakfast club. Two groups will be based in the hall and one group in the Sunshine Room. Each group will have their own resources.

Children should be collected either from Gate 4 - the wooden gate in the carpark to the nursery garden or from the usual exit. Please ring on the bell, stepping back to the carpark and you will be told which exit your child will leave from.

Activities

The club offers a range of activities to suit all ages and interests.  Children also have access to a fruit bowl and will be given a light tea such as pizza or beans on toast.  The club has been set up to reflect the children's needs and interests and therefore the activities and menu will be influenced by children.

Please note that at this present time simple food will be prepared in the Sunshine Room and will then be collected by a member from each group (with adult support).

There may be times, especially on a Friday, when the children use the school hall together but socially distanced to watch a film.
