Drawing

Collect a few objects from around your house that are different in texture and height to make a still life.  Then sit down and make a careful drawing adding shading and shadows.

Sculpture

Create a paper sculpture using newspapers and magazines.  Use as many of these techniques as you can: pleating, folding, bending, twisting, curling, rolling and cutting.
