Shapes and counting
Since Christmas we have been focusing on learning all about shapes and practising counting and recognising numbers. We have had fun looking for shapes both inside and outside and have played games to practise naming them and also describing them. We have used words such as round, long sides, short sides and corners.
We have thought about numbers that are familiar to us for example how old we are and also looked for numbers around our homes for home work! Counting underwater creatures on the interactive whiteboard was also very popular!
