Learning, achieving, working together

Friday 15th May

Hello year 4

Its hard to believe that another week has gone by.  You have all achieved so much and I am so proud of you every day.  Remember learning is not just about maths and English (although I know these are important).  You can learn through building, baking, walking, making - every time you do something, think about what you are doing and notice it.  Could you do it differently next time?  Would you want to change anything?  Why - to improve your experience?  That is learning smiley

I have attached a couple of sheets involving problem solving.  Remember that although there are lots of words think about the four operations in maths (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and what the words are asking you to do.  Good luck!

To finish our week on poetry, I would like you to look at the clips on the bbc weblink explaining the different forms of poetry.  Do you recognise any of them?  Do you have a preference?  Have a go at writing one if you want to?  Finally, a bit of grammar, I have attached a sheet on plurals.  You do not have to complete the whole sheet but please do read and try to understand how plurals are formed.

If you're willing to use your Easter chocolate for art (if it hasn't been eaten already), here is a link for something a little bit different.

I hope you enjoy the you tube clips, I thought some of you might like to have a go.

Have a great weekend and stay safe.
