Year 5
Welcome to Year 5
This term our topic is Villains, Scoundrels and Rogues. We will be learning about all the naughty people in our local history, especially highwaymen and women. We will be reading 'The Highwayman' by Alfred Noyes and 'Oliver' by Charles Dickens.
When we aren't learning about criminals we will be swimming on Thursdays, playing cricket on Mondays as well as transforming into a band of pirates for our KS2 production!
As always spelling homework will be given out on Wednesday and should be handed in on Monday.
Our topic homework is due in on Wednesday 25th May
HUGE NEWS! The Queen wrote to us! Lilli and Taylor sent letters to Queen Elizabeth in September, and today we got our replies from Buckingham Palace!
