Primary School

Learning, achieving, working together

Friday 24th

Good morning year 4

It is the end of our first week of the summer term!  It is not like any other term but we have still been doing some amazing learning at home.  Thank you everyone, including grown ups, in putting in so much effort and sharing what you have been doing.  It is so lovely to hear from you and a few of you are looking at uploading to our school blog which is a great way to stay in touch.

As always, please read for at least 20 mins every day and continue to practise your times tables.

Send me an email on purple mash or grown ups email me on and let me know what is working well for you regarding home learning.

Today I would like you to choose a maths activity sheet and read the final chapter of Firebird and complete the attached worksheet.  If you managed to do the water experiment from yesterday, could you write a short report.  What equipment did you use?  What did you notice?  What was the result?  Why do you think that happened?

Finally, lets finish the week with some artwork.  Click on the link below for some ideas on different ways of drawing.  I am going to have a go at the running man animation and will upload it to the website next week.  See what you can come up with and enjoy!

Enjoy your weekend!  Stay safe.
