Primary School

Learning, achieving, working together

Friday 26 June

Good morning year 4

The end of another week, I hope you have enjoyed the learning even if you have only tried parts of it.   Remember you can email me at if you want to ask anything about the work I have set or about school and of course, you can share your learning or things you have got up to at home on the school blog.

It's Friday so its maths challenge day.  Have a go at as many or as few as you like, they all help your flexibility in thinking like a mathematician.

It is time for your masterpiece, putting together all your preparation this week, have a go at writing your own adventure story.  You can draw it as a story map or comic strip if you prefer.   Be as imaginative as you like.

I decided to have a look at bread to end the week - to see where it comes from, how it is made and the different types.  If you want to have a go at making your own, I have included some recipes.  For fun, I have uploaded a song based on the story 'The little red hen' which most of you will be familiar with.  Don't forget to let me know how you got on or share your work on the school blog.

Have a great weekend everyone and stay safe.
