Maths

Our final revision on decimals is ordering - watch the video and have a go at the activity sheet.  The problem of the day is day 9 and the alternative worksheet today focuses on 'recognising a third'.

English

Today we are creating a newspaper report - focusing on the headline and opening paragraph of your alien coming to town.  Let your imagination go wild!

Other ideas 

We're back to 5-minutes crafts again, I particularly like the shoe box table football and I'd love to see a picture if any of you have a go at making it.  I've also put a link to making play dough - my children love play dough and I have tried to make it before but Miss Courtnell is the expert at Micklem!  However, I found this link and it looks super easy - if you have a go, take some pictures of your creations and put them on the blog or send them to me on year4@micklem.herts.sch.uk.
