Dear Year One,
It is the last day of school today! It is also your last day in Year 1! When I see you again you will be all grown up and in Year 2. At least we will be neighbours as you will have the classroom next door so we will see each other and be able to say hello.
Thank you for a lovely year and for being such amazing children. I have loved teaching you this year and I'm so sorry our year together got cut short. However, it was important for us to stay safe and well.
Even though you are no longer in my class, my door is always open to you and I will always be an adult in school that you can talk to and trust.
Mrs Cavender has asked me to give you a little activity over the summer. It is loaded up below. It is for you to draw a picture of yourself and your family and tell Mrs Cavender all about your self.
Thank you to your parents too who have supported you and our class over the year. Your help is always appreciated.
I hope you have a lovely summer with your family and I look forward to seeing you in September and hearing all your news.
Stay safe and take care,
Mrs Stokley
