Dear Year One,

How did you get on with the shapes? Was your prediction correct?  Can you remember that engineers call too much pressure buckling.  They choose circle-based columns to support the weight of buildings.  Do you think it would make a different if the cylinder is smaller or bigger?  Why don't you test it out and see?
