Primary School

Learning, achieving, working together

Week 8 (June 1st)

Hi everyone

Welcome back to the final term of year 3. How scary is that?  I know some of you will be coming into school as part of the key worker group so I can see what you are doing there.  Now I know over half term I set you a challenge to complete a memory box.  If you look in the year 3 blog there's a really nice one completed for you to have a look at.

This week we will be reading the story of The Dish and the Spoon by an author called Mini Grey.  I think this is a fun story with an interesting twist.  In Maths we will be revising rounding of numbers.  I've also added an interesting Science water investigation to try,  It really works - I promise.  For those of you that are budding artists there's a really nice African art activity on here.  (click on the rainbow below)

Also, can you remember the Egyptian pyramids that we completed ages ago?  If any of you would like your projects returned please could you let me know and we can arrange collection.  If I don't hear from you by the end of the week I will assume that you no longer require them.

Have a good week and I look forward to speaking to you soon.  Don't forget to keep sending me your work.

Mrs Byrne
