Hello year 4

I have some exciting new learning for you this week.  I have been mastering technology so you can now hear my voice!  I hope you had a nice relaxing weekend and did some fun activities.

Maths

I would like you to watch and listen to the following presentation about rounding.  Then choose a worksheet to complete.  You can print the sheet or just write the answers in your exercise books.

Guided reading and geography

I would like you to look at the presentation linked to our English topic which is Stories from other cultures.  There is a short traditional tale to read from Ghana and then I would like you to research some facts about a couple of countries in Africa.

English

I would like you to listen to me read you the story of Cinderella to begin our new English unit on Stories around the world.  I would then like you to create a storyboard or comic strip retelling the story in your own words.  Try to stick to 6 main events.  I have uploaded a storyboard template but you can draw your own in your books if you prefer.
