Year 2

Welcome to Year 2!

We are so excited about our new class and the amazing learning we have planned this year.  Our class teacher is Mr. Cuthbert and we are very lucky to have Mrs. Miles, Mrs. Rose, Miss Perry and Mrs. Mackie all working in our team too.  The children have made a fantastic start and we are using our school rules - Be Kind, Show Respect and Aim High - to ensure that we all have an amazing year.

Our PE days are Tuesday and Wednesday so please make sure that the children's PE kits are in school including appropriate footwear.  Please also ensure your child is coming into school in the correct uniform with items labelled, reading book, reading record and coat. 

As you know, we have already shared reading books with the children.  Please make sure you read with them every evening and record it in their reading record.  This is helping them make fantastic progress with their reading, but they are also excited about the opportunity of working towards school rewards and even prizes!

Other homework log-ins will be shared soon and we will have regular practice on Spelling Shed and Numbots.
