Learning, achieving, working together

Thursday

This morning we will be having a Zoom registration at 10am and I hope that I will see you all there! At registration, I will tell you about our learning for today and you can ask questions to make sure that you understand what you need to do for today's learning.

If you have missed registration, don't worry, I am going to tell you about our learning today here.

For reading today, choose another book from Oxford Owl and complete some different activities on the noughts and crosses page. Carry on with your spelling and handwriting practice - how are you doing? Please bring some of your amazing work with you to register time tomorrow because I would love to see it! Also, if anyone has a special way to remember a spelling please share this with us tomorrow. Maybe you could be the teacher!

In Maths today I would like you to go onto Times Tables Rockstars

https://play.ttrockstars.com

If you have not got your login let me know by email or at register and I will send it to you.

Then create your own counting in 10s pathway. Can you use this to help you with the 10 times table?

Now you know the story of Jack and the Beanstalk well and you have practised retelling it with your puppets, have a go at writing the story in your own words. Remember to use a time word to start each new part of your story. Bring your stories along to register time in the morning and share them with your friends. If you would like to make and illustrate your own little book instead of using these sheets you can! Just find some paper and fold it in half and then add as many pages as you need.

Time for an active challenge! Today, as an adult to help you time a minute. Now, race to see how many hops you can do, then star jumps, press ups....what else could you do? Well done, your heart should now be beating fast and you should be feeling hot and sweaty!

Enjoy your busy day and I will see you tomorrow!
