Our visit to Sky Studios
Year 6 Visit to Sky Studios
On Tuesday, Year 6 went to Sky Studios—the actual building where they film most of our favourite shows! We spent the day in the real TV studio. Ashley Banjo (a famous dancer) introduced our task to us in the morning. We were given the opportunity to create our own news report on natural disasters and were all split into groups and had different roles, I was the editor in my group. We had to work together and got to use TV cameras, green screens and a giant editing station which looked like a huge iPad! Once we had completed our filming we went for a tour and got to see them filming Sky Sports News Live. We also saw several sky presenters as we walked around. After this, we watched our completed news report it was very funny. It was the best school trip I have ever been on! by Kyle
