Outdoor learning
The children love playing in our Nursery garden. They are already getting really good at dressing for outdoor learning and developing their independence. Here is a small sample of the different activities on offer outside. In addition to the children's physical development, outdoor learning is also developing personal and social skills, communication and language, literacy, maths, understanding the world and exressive arts and design. The children also have opportunities for problem solving, thinking of ideas, persevering and concentrating and also exploring the world around them.
