Hello year 4

 

Welcome to another week of home learning.  It has been so nice to see all the posts on our school blog, if you haven't checked it out yet have a look today.  I hope you enjoyed the sunshine on Saturday, I know I did.

Listen to the presentation below and then choose a worksheet that you think will challenge you.  

If you wanted to have a go at making your own sundial.  Here are the instructions - let's hope for a sunny day so that you can test it out.  

English

 

For English we are continuing with our Stories from other cultures.  I am hoping by the end of this week we will have a whole host of stories written by year 4 including illustrations that we can share.  Listen to the presentation and complete the task at the end.

I found a link to drawing cartoon characters.  There are lots on Youtube so if you prefer to use something else please do.  This is optional but I know that many of you enjoyed the draw with Rob link and it would be nice if you have illustrations in your stories at the end of the week. 

I've also put a few tasks on Purple Mash, again these are optional.  Don't forget you can email your friends and me on Purple Mash.  Have a good day.
